Mr. Takeshi Murayama started young in the industry as the owner of SOWA Shoko Co., Ltd. in Tokyo, Japan. After some years in business, he saw the potential of construction in the Philippines, and made the bold move to migrate to the country and establish SOWA Construction, Inc. Philippines on 1996.A charismatic and visionary leader, Mr. Takeshi Murayama, the founder of SOWA GROUP OF COMPANIES, has made SOWA CONSTRUCTION INC. one of the most trusted pioneering Japanese-Filipino construction company (Subcontractor) in the Philippines. SOWA is renowned for Japanese quality standards engineered by Japanese technologies and methods in specialized construction works unique to SOWA Construction, Inc. Among its international expansion are branches in the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the U.A.E.The late president is now succeeded by his children. Today, at the core of the company is Sharraine Murayama, the company’s Chief Operating Officer, supported by sister, Risa Murayama, the current President, and Reo Murayama, the eldest son who is now taking the role as General Manager of SOWA Construction, Inc.
